Andrew began his journey as an instructor at 21 while training corrections officers at Camp Bucca, Iraq. Since then, he has spent 12 years as a sheriff’s deputy where he became certified as a field training officer, general instructor, and defensive tactics instructor. Soon after, he obtained his firearms instructor certification through the NRA. He has achieved his Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and remained both state and NRA certified as a firearms and defensive tactics instructor. His passions are firearms training and 2nd Amendment activism through private training and speaking engagements.
Women's Only Firearm Familiarization Class - $85.00
This is a 4-hour class for women only who are wanting to gain a better understanding of proper handling, safe practices, proper breakdown, cleaning, and reassembling of their personal firearms.

ENHANCED Carry Class

This is the 8-hour State of Tennessee Enhanced Carry course needed to obtain your enhanced carry license. Must be 18+ to attend. We typically host this event on the first Wednesday of every month, but will work with your schedule and host a private class for groups of 6 or more.

At Parabellum Defense Services, we believe that firearm competencies begin with early training, so we developed a JROTC-style program for kids ages 12-17. We supply each student with everything they need to participate, from the air rifles to the pellets.
Alongside training and weekly practices, the Rifle League also participates in competitions against other youth rifle teams.Interested in joining the team?

- WHY DO I NEED A PERMIT IF TENNESSEE IS CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY?
Though people often refer to Tennessee as constitutional carry it is actually permitless carry. Permitless carry means you are free to open or concealed carry in MOST places. However, there are many places where you are still required to have a permit and can face due penalties if you violate these laws. There are also several values to having the permit such as reciprocity (38 states recognize and honor our permit). We go over all this in detail during our Enhanced Carry Course.
- What is the difference between the Concealed and Enhanced Carry Permit?
The Concealed Carry permit is an 8 year permit that is for concealed carry only. Once it expires you must take the class again before you can renew.The Enhanced Carry permit is for open and concealed carrying. When you get the license you have a choice between the 8 year or the lifetime permit. If your 8 year enhanced carry permit expires you can renew it without taking the class again.
- I just moved to TN from another state where I had a permit. Do I still have to take the course to get my liscense?
Sadly, yes. Tennessee does not give you any special treatment for having a carry license in your previous state.
- Do you have a range I can use?
Right now we are contracted through private ranges for our classes and live fire training. These are not open to the public. However, we do have a smokeless range simulator in our store that you can access for $20 an hour.
- How do transfers work?
When you purchase your firearm just give the seller our FFL number and our address. We will notify you when it arrives then you just run the background check and fill out the paperwork like normal. We charge $25 for the transfer and $10 for the background check.FFL Number: 1-62-123-01-7C-16591
